Borders
This part of Scotland is occupied by Galashiels, Selkirk, Hawick, Jedburgh, Earlston, Kelso, St Boswells, Peebles, Melrose and Tweedbank. The borders is the term given to the area of land which is clostest to the English borders. This area of land has been historically seen as the front line between Scotland and England when battle errupted between the two contries over thr last 1000 years.
